Why ButterMilk?

Is it truly southern fried chicken if it isn’t marinated in Buttermilk? We don’t think so. This is why it was just as important to create the proper buttermilk brine to marinate our chicken overnight, as it was to create our seasoning blend so that the taste and flavour dances on your palate. More importantly, the natural acidy in buttermilk is what helps tenderize the chicken and crisp up the skin for the ultimate “CRUNCH”.
